Growth Groups at SLCC
"Growth Groups"
...are small group Bible studies that are Christ-centered in focus to assist us in our spiritual development. There are many benefits to getting plugged into a Growth Group: interactive Bible study, accelerated spiritual growth, relational support and friendships and a comfortable small group size (6-12). SLCC has a developing cluster of Growth Groups for young people and adults. Call the office for times and locations.

Current Studies:
- Mixed: Prayer Group on Monday nights at 6pm
- Mixed: Cell Growth Groups - based on geographical location (central, north, west, south): relationship building over meal, interactive Bible study, prayer & sharing, local ministry outreach
- Men: COLOSSIANS: A study through the book of Colossians, meeting at 9:30am, on Sunday mornings.
- Women: DISCERNING THE VOICE OF GOD: A study on hearing from the Lord. Meeting at 9:30am on Sunday mornings.
- Women: JAMES: A study on the book of James, using the Bible study book by John MacArthur. Taking place on Thursday nights at 7pm, starting February 21, 2013.
- Mixed: "Family Table Talks" every 6-8 weeks re: biblical integration
Location
SLCC leases space at 1347 S State Street, Chicago, IL, 60605. Services, ministry programming, and offices are all based out of this facility. You'll love our NEW LOCATION!
Directions
SLCC is located just 1.5 blocks south of Roosevelt Road, at 1347 S State Street. A banner and sidewalk sign will mark the location.
Parking and Transportation
On Sundays, SLCC attendees may park in either the south lot
(10 spaces along the south edge of SLCC's building) or the north lot (25 spaces just south of 13th Street).
** Be sure to pick up a parking permit from an SLCC parking attendant or greeter, to place in your windshield.
During the week, the smaller southside lot is available for SLCC purposes. Street parking is available; but only
as city signage allows. Walking or using public transportation is encouraged. The Green, Orange, and Red Line "L" train
stops are just a couple blocks away at Roosevelt Road and State Streets; and, bus lines (#29, #62, #129) run along State Street--
with stops at 13th and 14th.
