Growth Group Bible Studies

"Growth Groups"

...are small group Bible studies that are Christ-centered in focus to assist us in our spiritual development. There are many benefits to getting plugged into a Growth Group: interactive Bible study, accelerated spiritual growth, relational support and friendships and a comfortable small group size (6-12). SLCC has a developing cluster of Growth Groups for young people and adults. Call the office for times and locations.

Current Studies:

  • Loop/Business: The Book of Genesis (Old Testament)
  • Mixed: Cell Growth Groups - based on geographical location (central, north, west, south): relationship building over meal, interactive Bible study, prayer & sharing, local ministry outreach
  • Men: Moral Purity, based on the book by Steve Gallagher "AT THE ALTAR OF SEXUAL IDOLATRY" meeting on Saturday mornings.
  • Men: LIVING BY THE BOOK, a study on hermeneutics (understanding how to study & understand the Bible), meeting on Sunday mornings.
  • Mixed: Prayer Group on Wednesday nights at 6pm
  • Women: Topical Study on spiritual disciplines on Sunday Mornings at 9:30am
  • Women: The Gospel of Matthew, the Bible Study series book by John MacArthur. Meets on Thursday at 7pm - 8:30pm, starting March 1, 2012
  • Mixed: "Family Table Talks" every 6-8 weeks re: biblical integration
